Position Summary

Role Overview: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or utilizing dishwashing machines as per assigned duties.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays following established procedures to ensure cleanliness.
  • Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and methods to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with outlined procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as per safety standards.
  • Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Clean kitchen floors to uphold sanitation standards.
  • Wash work surfaces, including tables, walls, and food preparation areas.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of garbage containers.
  • Assist in transferring supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Support loading and unloading of supplies and products.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
