Executive Kitchen Steward Job Description

The Executive Kitchen Steward will provide strategic leadership to the stewarding team, ensuring exceptional departmental organization, cleanliness, and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, training and developing stewards, and maintaining the highest standards of sanitation quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Deliver outstanding service to guests, working harmoniously with team members to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Operate Dishwashing Equipment Safely: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of dishwashing equipment, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in kitchen areas, including stock food preparation stations, and ensure that all equipment is properly sanitized.
  • Train and Develop Stewards: Provide training and coaching to new stewards, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure Compliance with Food and Beverage Goals: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure compliance with food and beverage goals, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Education or Equivalent: A high school education or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Supervisory Experience: Two years of stewarding experience with supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage Service Operations: A strong understanding of food and beverage service operations is essential for this role.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Background Check and Alcohol/Drug Screening: A background check and alcohol/drug screening will be required for this position.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
