At Royal Caribbean Group, we're on a mission to revolutionize the travel industry. As a Senior Product Owner - Digital Sales, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our electronic distribution systems.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team of innovators and contribute to the development of cutting-edge booking tools for travel agents. You'll be responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing electronic distribution systems that drive revenue growth and enhance the travel agent shopping and booking experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic roadmap for Automation, driving revenue growth and cost savings.
- Set and meet corporate automation targets, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Oversee the entire life cycle of electronic products, ensuring seamless user experiences and design excellence.
- Initiate new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, capitalizing on automation growth opportunities and trends.
- Meet revenue and/or cost savings projections, driving business success through data-driven insights.
- Coordinate with market research focus groups, gathering insights to inform product development and strategy.
- Design and gather site feedback, ensuring a user-centric approach to product development.
- Reinforce communication with IT Portfolio Manager and 3rd party technology partners, driving collaboration and innovation.
- Coordinate product and project launch initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Accountable for user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring high-quality products that meet business needs.
- Interpret marketing direction for branding and user experience, driving business success through creative and effective solutions.
- Drive and be accountable for product line development, expansion, and termination, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; Master's degree in Marketing or business preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a professional and analytical role, with 2 years management experience in a comparable Internet-driven or technology development environment or industry.
- Familiarity with e-commerce distribution models highly desirable.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.
- Must be a highly organized self-starter able to manage multiple concurrent work streams, producing high-quality deliverables while working with minimum supervision.
- Web experience preferred.
