The CNC Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role within our CNC shop. This position is responsible for the upkeep and sanitation of machinery on the production floor and in the warehouse, ensuring that equipment is primed for operational use to support expanding departments and product lines. The responsibilities of the Equipment Maintenance Specialist include executing cleaning tasks based on a list provided by management. This role may involve utilizing basic hand tools to disassemble components such as panels, motors, and cabinets to facilitate thorough cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and sanitize machines and equipment for production readiness.
  • Conduct and document routine inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Execute heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Alert management to any deficiencies or repair needs.
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs on equipment.
  • Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and supplies.
  • Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Strong integrity and capability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
