The CNC Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role within our CNC shop. This position is responsible for the upkeep and sanitation of machinery on the production floor and in the warehouse, ensuring that equipment is primed for operational use to support expanding departments and product lines. The responsibilities of the Equipment Maintenance Specialist include following a detailed machine cleaning schedule provided by management. This role may involve utilizing basic hand tools to disassemble panels, parts, motors, cabinets, and other components of the machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and clean machines and equipment for operational readiness.
  • Conduct and document routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Execute extensive cleaning duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Alert management to any deficiencies or repair needs.
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs on equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a related field.
  • Capability to manage heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and supplies.
  • Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Strong integrity and ability to work autonomously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
