The Preventative Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of our plant equipment through regular maintenance activities. This full-time, hourly non-exempt position reports directly to the Machine Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the upkeep of CNC machines and other essential equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute a range of routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid and filter replacements, inspections, and minor adjustments.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant equipment while working safely in various environments.
- Disassemble and reassemble machine components, following detailed diagrams when necessary.
- Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic mathematical skills are essential.
- Familiarity with common hand tools is necessary.
- Ability to follow instructions and assimilate new information effectively.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
