Job Title: Educational Associate - Opportunity Culture Specialist

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Educational Associate - Opportunity Culture Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the district's strategy around staff leadership and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the district's OC team to develop and implement the Opportunity Culture methodology and approach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with teacher leaders, principals, and district departments to ensure effective implementation of OC.
  • Develop and deliver training and professional development opportunities for teachers and school leaders.
  • Support schools in the recruitment, selection, and deployment of OC candidates.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OC implementation and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or institution.
  • Valid Maryland State Department of Education Standard Professional Certificate and appropriate professional licensure.
  • Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service skills to support internal and external customers.
