Project Control Manager - Hospitality and Entertainment

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prominent construction firm with a proven track record of delivering first-class high-quality commercial projects.

We are currently seeking a Project Controls Manager to join the team for a large hotel/casino development in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the project controls plan, including budget, schedule, cost estimates, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and track project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to the budget.
  • Prepare and manage project forecasts, identifying potential cost overruns and schedule delays.
  • Analyze and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to minimize their impact.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for project stakeholders, providing clear and concise cost and schedule data.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project alignment with relevant plans.
  • Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to track progress and maintain accurate data.
  • Support the implementation of lean construction principles for project efficiency.
Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Controls professional in commercial construction.

A casino project as part of your project portfolio would be advantageous.

Experience working on large-scale, complex projects (hospitality sector a plus).Demonstrated expertise in cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) a plus.
