Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

HITT Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the workflow of construction projects on site, adhering to project schedules and HITT safety and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and serve as a liaison between project team members, promoting the interests of both the business and clients.
  • Communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors, serving as the primary leader on site for the construction project.
Requirements:
  • A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast-paced project experience are all a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mastery of building processes and best practices.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Project lead experience preferred.
  • Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and OSHA 30 Certification.
