Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse specializing in wound care, you will provide essential care for patients with chronic wounds, utilizing advanced treatment methodologies. You will also serve as a vital resource for healthcare professionals, patients, families, and the broader community.
Incentives

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and/or Certified Wound Care Clinicians to assess and reassess the physical and educational needs of patients requiring advanced wound care. Effectively communicate patient requirements to the wound care team and provide necessary discharge education. - 25%
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans based on patient assessments, ensuring efficient and cost-effective coordination of care in partnership with the wound care team. - 25%
- Educate patients and their caregivers on evidence-based advanced wound care practices and promote healthy practices within the community. - 15%
- Identify potential issues related to resource management and patient care, collaborating with the wound care team to find cost-effective solutions and facilitate discharge processes. - 15%
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), including product usage and facility charges. - 15%
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families, adhering to established departmental policies. - 5%
Management Responsibilities
This position does not involve management duties and will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Educational Requirements
Associate Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on skin and wound care is required.
Licensure and Certifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Wound Vac technology is preferred. Completion of a BSN is advantageous. Certification in Wound and Ostomy care is also preferred.
Work Schedule
Day shifts are available.
