Hospice Care Nurse

At Delta Health System - The Medical Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for providing high-quality care to terminally ill patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed
Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
Educate patients and their families on disease management, symptom control, and end-of-life care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Mississippi
One year of acute care experience within the last two years, or equivalent experience in home health care, community health, or public health
Current CPR card and valid state driver's license
Proof of current automobile insurance
