Job Summary:

The Hyperbaric Technician will administer hyperbaric treatment to patients of the Wound Healing Center at Delta Health System - The Medical Center. This role requires a high school graduate or equivalent with at least two years of hospital respiratory care experience or two years of experience as a licensed nurse. Additionally, the candidate must complete a UHMS recognized course on Hyperbaric Medicine and be credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. A license by the State of Mississippi Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and the State of Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Licensed Nurse is also required. Furthermore, the candidate must obtain certification as an Associate Member of the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society within one year of completing the hyperbaric course. Current certification in Basic Life Support is required, and ACLS and Dysrhythmia training is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess positive interpersonal relationship skills.

Requirements:
