Newton, Massachusetts, United States Morris County Aftercare Center Full time

At Morris County Aftercare Center, a busy and dynamic Medication Assisted Treatment facility, we're looking for a skilled LPN to join our team on a per diem basis.

This rewarding position offers competitive pay, ranging from $28 to $32 per hour, and a flexible work schedule with workdays wrapping up by 12:30pm. Located in the heart of downtown Newton, NJ, our family-oriented, not-for-profit organization is dedicated to providing top-notch care to our clients.

As an LPN in our outpatient setting, you'll work closely with our DON, Assistant DON, and Medical Director to dispense methadone safely and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all clients' medical needs are met while coordinating with various areas of the organization to guarantee their safety.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Identifying and prioritizing client care needs using client history and nursing assessment
  • Providing direct client care, including daily medication administration and reconciliation
  • Accurately documenting pertinent information in clients' charts and reporting observations to appropriate staff
  • Practicing safety, environmental, and infection control methods
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • An active and valid NJ LPN license
  • Previous experience as an LPN, with a plus for experience in a substance abuse facility
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment

At Morris County Aftercare Center, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our team members to grow and thrive. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
