At Morris County Aftercare Center, we are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in a per diem capacity. This rewarding position offers competitive pay and a flexible work schedule, with workdays concluding by 12:30pm.

As an LPN in our outpatient setting, you will be responsible for dispensing methadone safely and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations to clients as instructed by the DON, Assistant DON, and/or Medical Director. You will also monitor clients to ensure that all of their medical needs are met while coordinating with all areas of the organization to ensure client safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize client care needs using client history and nursing assessment
  • Provide direct client care
  • Perform daily client medication administration and reconciliation, ensuring proper documentation and workflow
  • Document pertinent information in client's chart and accurately report and make observations to appropriate staff
  • Practice safety, environmental, and infection control methods

Requirements:

  • Must have an active and valid NJ LPN license
  • Previous experience as an LPN, prior experience in a substance abuse facility a plus
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
