Mental Health Therapist for Community Care

About the PositionSea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a skilled Integrated Mental Health Therapist III to join our Behavioral Health Department in Lynnwood, WA.
Responsibilities and Duties- Develop personalized treatment plans with patients, incorporating feedback from other staff members, to address emotional needs and behavioral issues.
- Gather comprehensive information regarding past mental health services to inform individualized treatment plans.
- Refer patients to psychiatric services as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide brief individual counseling sessions, often in collaboration with other systems, to support patient well-being.
- Conduct thorough suicide risk assessments and develop targeted treatment plans to mitigate suicidal ideation or gestures.
- Apply case management strategies and build community support networks to foster long-term follow-through and stability.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Master's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, or social work, including coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field, with expertise in mental health evaluation and evidence-based treatment models.
- Meet the criteria for a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
- An active Washington State Affiliated Counselor License or a Mental Health Associate License, which includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker designations.
- Comfort working with computers and Microsoft Office software, as well as strong communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly valued but not required.
