Position Overview:

As the Event Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating memorable gatherings at Wildflower Farms.

Your leadership will guide the banquet team in delivering exceptional service for various events and catering functions.

Collaboration with food and beverage, as well as sales and marketing teams, will be essential to ensure seamless on-site coordination and execution of all events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive execution of events at Wildflower Farms, ensuring adherence to menu and event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
  • Lead the banquet team, including captains, servers, bartenders, and house attendants, fostering a culture of outstanding guest service.
  • Develop and refine departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs.
  • Facilitate effective communication among banquet personnel to ensure smooth transitions between functions.
  • Assess staffing and equipment requirements proactively, managing inventory of banquet furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Address challenges that arise during events, keeping the Executive Committee informed of any significant issues or opportunities.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of hotel facilities, meeting space capacities, and operational needs across departments.
  • Make informed decisions that balance client satisfaction with financial and safety considerations.
  • Participate in various meetings with hotel staff and clients to ensure alignment and preparation for upcoming events.
  • Analyze client needs and financial implications, authorizing resolutions that uphold profitability.
  • Prepare detailed reports and correspondence related to group activities, including activity checklists and post-event evaluations.
  • Conduct visual inspections of function rooms and equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen, service, and engineering teams to guarantee timely event execution and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a visible management presence during events, anticipating guest needs.
Compensation:
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000
