Job Summary

The Quality Control Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety within our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality standards of the company, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality guidelines and procedures to ensure a high level of quality awareness.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that quality equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate results.
  • Customer Complaints: Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Rework Process: Oversee the rework process to ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory transactions of quarantined product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Perform disciplinary actions as necessary to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • PTO Requests: Manage PTO requests and ensure that time-off requests and timesheets are completed and processed in a timely manner.
  • Customer Visits: Lead customer visits and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve current quality processes utilizing technology to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory role.
  • Education: 4-year degree in quality management or a related field.
  • Certifications: On-Site QA certification.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in basic business (Microsoft Office) software.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience in 6 Sigma, LEAN, 5S, or CI.
