Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and talented litigation attorney with experience in securities and commodities issues to join our General Counsel office in Greenwich, CT, Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will represent the firm in arbitration and other adversarial proceedings, coordinate with outside counsel on court actions, and advise firm employees on pre-litigation matters.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the firm in arbitration and other adversarial proceedings
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on court actions
  • Represent firm employees in third-party proceedings
  • Advising firm employees on pre-litigation matters
  • Drafting agreements, disclosures, account documentation, and website materials
  • Investigate and provide detailed analysis and legal advice in connection with anti-fraud efforts and cybersecurity matters
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of post-J.D. experience as a litigator at a law firm, financial services regulatory agency, exchange, broker-dealer, or FCM
  • Experience in court or arbitration proceedings
  • Familiarity with securities and broker-dealer issues
  • Background in cybersecurity issues a plus
  • Member in good standing of the bar of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia
  • Solid academic background
  • High degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology
