Squiggle Room Early Learning Center is searching for a passionate and experienced Early Learning Center Director to lead our new location. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development and a proven track record of success in managing and growing a thriving learning environment.

As the leader of our center, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our program, ensuring that we provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and education to every child. You will work closely with a dedicated team of educators to create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Oversee the daily operations of our early learning center, ensuring compliance with all applicable licensing and funding regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment for children.
  • Curriculum Development & Implementation: Collaborate with educators to design and deliver a high-quality curriculum that aligns with best practices in early childhood education. Foster a play-based learning approach that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of dedicated early childhood educators. Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Parent Communication & Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and families. Communicate regularly about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where parents feel valued and supported.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the center's budget, manage expenses, and ensure financial sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
  • Proven experience as an early childhood education administrator or director.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early learning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
