Job Summary

The Concentric LLC is seeking a highly skilled Motive Power Field Project Manager to oversee the installation of motive power systems, including battery chargers, power inverters, and other industrial electrical components. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans, establishes, maintains, and regularly updates the project schedule for assigned projects to ensure all installations meet industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project installation.
  • Attends pre-bid and bid-opening meetings as required.
  • Perform site walks for sales quoting and pre/post job qualifications when required.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and bid documents and provides change orders when necessary.
  • Supports the customer service team during order setup, material purchasing, invoicing, and project closure.
  • Prepare, distribute, and follow through with project safety plan including company, customer, and regulatory agency standards.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain project action item list.
  • Maintain accurate as-built documentation and punch-lists.
  • Monitors, reports, and controls costs on assigned projects within estimated project margin.
  • Manage gross profit and other key performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Reports, forecasts, and presents project financial activity to Concentric LLC management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management from an accredited institution OR minimum 10 years of field service, project management, and/or proposal generation experience with motive or critical power distribution systems and high school diploma/equivalency.
  • Minimum 5 years project management in power and/or mechanical applications.
  • Project management professional certification (PMP) preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certificate preferred.
  • Demonstrated financial success as a project manager.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical industry-related application engineering.
  • Deep understanding of all electrical codes and safety requirements. National Electrical Code (NEC) certification preferred.
  • Able to develop and execute comprehensive contingency plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft TEAMS or project planning platforms.
  • Proficiency in Procore and/or project management software preferred.
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process flow preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and team mentality.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to set reasonable and attainable service goals in a variety of markets.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a TWIC card.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to satisfy customers.
  • Requires up to 70% travel.
