Job Overview

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Regional Project Manager to lead our engineering projects in the power sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal project design teams, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and facilitating effective communication between design and construction project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal project design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, including design requirements and project goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between design and construction project leadership to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate project design and performance status with clients and permitting agencies.
  • Coordinate technical details across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Support business development activities, including RFP reviews, proposals, and project estimates.
  • Resolve conflicts that arise through partnering with design teams, clients, and construction teams.
  • Support construction priorities and ensure their implementation through the design.
  • Plan and communicate needs for Kiewit Engineering resources to support projects.
  • Manage and interpret data and results for multiple projects.
  • Responsible for meeting project engineering schedules and budgets.
  • Identify current and future risks along with mitigation strategies.
  • Consolidate best practices from project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related engineering degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management.
  • Ability to mentor technical staff and foster a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
