Position Overview:

As a Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
Handling incoming and outgoing calls for appointment scheduling.

Effectively managing multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner.

Maintaining accurate records for clients and pets, including medical histories and referral documents.


Providing clients with necessary information, instructions, and invoices, as well as managing prescription requests as directed by the veterinarian.

Utilizing our hospital's computer systems to document medical records and facilitate communication with clients and team members.


Overseeing the financial operations of the hospital by accurately processing client transactions and adhering to cash and credit handling protocols.

Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a professional level of communication.

Educating clients on preventative care, pet health needs, and treatment options while advocating for their pets.

Fostering a positive atmosphere in all interactions with clients, pets, and colleagues.

Exhibiting empathy towards clients and treating pets with kindness and respect.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Proficient use of standard office equipment.

Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and procedures.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Experience with veterinary management software is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks.

Strong organizational skills.


Critical thinking skills to evaluate various solutions and approaches to challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with sound judgment and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
