Position Summary:
The remote Bilingual Customer Service Specialist operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment, managing both inbound and outbound calls (no cold calling) for clients seeking commercial insurance quotes for their small enterprises.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer support within a remote call center setting and be adept at reading scripts. Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to read and translate scripts spontaneously, is essential. Candidates must reside in the United States.
As the representative voice of our organization, the Customer Service Specialist must demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for assisting customers and enhancing their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a significant volume of inbound and outbound calls related to small business owners inquiring about their commercial insurance requirements.
- Adhere to communication scripts while leveraging product knowledge to deviate from scripts when necessary.
- Foster positive relationships by exceeding customer service expectations, ensuring all inquiries, cancellations, and confirmations are addressed appropriately.
- Achieve daily qualitative and quantitative targets, meeting all service, productivity, and quality standards.
- Must possess a Windows, Apple desktop/laptop, or Chromebook.
- Access to high-speed internet is required.
- A dedicated workspace is necessary.
- Processor: Intel i5 8th Generation, Intel Celeron N4500, or AMD Ryzen 5 series or newer.
- Operating System: macOS 11 or newer (Big Sur 11, Monterey 12, Ventura 13, & Sonoma 14).
- RAM & CPU: less than 80% usage.
- Minimum RAM (physical memory): 8 GB.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
- At least 2 years of customer support experience in a call center environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of remote work experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Outstanding customer service, active listening, and both verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone demeanor.
- Proficient with computers, particularly CRM software, and possess strong typing abilities.
- Strong time management and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and accountability.
