We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Transplace. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
- Work closely with Dray carriers to ensure on-time deliveries and communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status.
- Proactively review customer onboarding information for accuracy and ensure clear communication with customers regarding contract terms and accessorial charges.
- Monitor and trace all shipments, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the system.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure carrier performance meets customer and Transplace expectations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, coworkers, and managers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
