The Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Primary Care will operate under the guidance of a licensed physician, providing exceptional healthcare services to patients across all age groups. The PA/NP will be responsible for conducting patient evaluations, diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, performing routine procedures, and offering patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, including gathering medical history, conducting physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and formulate treatment strategies for both acute and chronic health issues.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as necessary.
  • Carry out minor procedures such as suturing, wound management, and administering injections.
  • Provide education to patients regarding preventive care, health maintenance, and treatment protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and current medical records are maintained in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Valid Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
  • Strong clinical expertise with experience in primary care or family medicine.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

This position offers a full-time contract opportunity.

Compensation ranges from $60 to $80 per hour.
