LPN Opportunity at General Physician, P.C.

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at General Physician, P.C. in Western New York. As a valued member of our primary care team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer general nursing care under the direction of healthcare providers.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including preliminary physical tests and interviews.
  • Handle chart preparation and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer medications, and injections, and collect lab specimens.
  • Complete prior authorizations for diagnostic testing and medications.
  • Ensure proper follow-up and communication to avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Manage clinical supplies, stock, and exam rooms.
  • Assist in office treatments and examinations.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service for a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
  • New York State LPN license in good standing.
  • Proven work experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes, CPR Certification, and strong clinical skills preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with computer proficiency.
