Clinical Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation program, you will be responsible for coordinating treatment plans to meet the clinical and educational needs of heart patients, families, and patients at risk for cardiovascular disease.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate treatment plans to meet the clinical and educational needs of heart patients, families, and patients at risk for cardiovascular disease.
Conduct stress tests with and without nuclear imaging.
Work at an academic medical center with unique cases.
Be a contributor to the evolution of outpatient cardiac rehabilitation by not requiring ECG monitoring every session.
Receive wonderful support from our medical director, cardiologists, and advanced practice providers.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field with emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation Required.
Three (3) month internship in a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program Required.
One or more years of relevant clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation Preferred.
Current CPR and ACLS certification Upon Hire Required.
American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiology certification (ACSM-CEP) Upon Hire Required.
