Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Applications Specialist to join our team at Communications Engineering Company. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of our clinical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our customers' existing systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to our sales, design, and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement system configuration plans, including review of facility layout and design, to meet customer needs.
  • Interface with customers to define workflow solutions and present to hospital leadership, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Design and deliver customer training programs, including curriculum development and updates to address new system features and applications.
  • Work with internal teams and customers to implement system application best practices, ensuring compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Conduct in-service training for customers and clinical teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and adoption.
  • Support system Go Live and post-Go-live activities, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Conduct post-implementation system assessments, providing additional training as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Assist with completion of project sign-off process, including testing and warranty initiation, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a positive company image and reputation through professional interactions and communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide timely responses to internal and external customer queries, ensuring prompt resolution and high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience in developing and preparing custom presentations, with ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, windows applications, and networking, with ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Proven ability to manage customer experience, with credibility and expertise in guiding customers toward evidence-based, best practices in technology utilization and staff education.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate planning and organizational skills, with ability to successfully complete projects with multiple stakeholders by specific due dates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RN experience in acute care, with 5+ years' experience preferred.
  • Strong project management experience, with ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing technology in the healthcare environment, with knowledge of clinical and operational impact of technology on patient care.
  • General US healthcare market knowledge, with understanding of clinical and operational impact of fee-for-service to value-based care.
  • Actively involved in a nursing association and/or clinical advisory board, with ability to contribute to industry knowledge and best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving, creative skills, and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

Other Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of technologies offered by Communications Engineering Company, with ability to effectively communicate and support customers.
  • PC proficiency (windows environment) is essential, with strong working knowledge of Excel preferred.
