Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position at Lorenz Clinic, a leading provider of psychiatric services. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of children and adults.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric services, including evaluation and medication management, to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy to patients as needed.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in the clinic's training program, providing didactics and supervision to students and residents.
- Comply with clinic documentation standards, licensing board rules, and applicable codes of ethics.
- A doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) from an accredited school of nursing.
- A full, unrestricted license to practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Minnesota (or license-eligible).
- At least one year of post-licensure experience as a PMHNP in an outpatient setting or successful completion of a doctoral-level preceptorship at Lorenz Clinic.
- Formal preparation and supervised experience in psychotherapy (preferred).
- Experience in child, adult psychiatry, and board certification in child or adult psychiatry (both preferred).
