We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Relations Manager to join our team at Newport Mental Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with current and prospective donors to advance our organization's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors to increase philanthropic revenue and grow our donor portfolio.
- Develop and execute targeted community awareness campaigns to promote our organization's services and goals.
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships with executives, administrators, and clinicians to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Manage and track donor contact reports and donations in our donor management system.
- Collaborate with our Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and distribute fundraising materials through various channels.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Three or more years of related work experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing a major gift portfolio.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare or associated industries is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor content to the audience and channel.
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to grasp company economics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT is strongly preferred.
