Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Humanoid Robotics Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our humanoid robot deployments worldwide. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our humanoid robots at customer sites, working closely with customers to ensure seamless operation and providing technical support to address any issues that arise. Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Deployment: Investigate, prepare, install, and configure humanoid robots at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware inspections, and component replacements, to guarantee optimal performance and reliability of robotic systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with humanoid robots, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and restore functionality quickly.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to customers, including robot operators and maintenance staff, to help them effectively utilize and maintain our robotic systems.
  • Documentation: Assist in developing detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs, part failures/usage, troubleshooting procedures, and customer interactions, to track issues and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues and contribute to product enhancement efforts.
  • Field Testing and Feedback: Participate in field testing and evaluation of new robot features and functionalities, providing feedback to engineering teams to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field service or technical support roles, preferably in the robotics industry.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with robotic/electromechanical systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with humanoid robotics concepts, such as kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as needed (approximately 30%-50%).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.
