Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Robotics Control Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-level locomotion and manipulation algorithms primarily in C++ for humanoid robots
  • Implement rigorous unit and integration tests of control algorithms and existing implementations
  • Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception, and other teams to enable a broad range of robot behaviors
Requirements
  • MS or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
  • Proven industry experience implementing high-performance humanoid controls (2 years, or 0 with directly relevant PhD)
  • Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals such as kinematics, dynamics, controls, and estimation
  • Proficient in modern C++ and object-oriented programming in a Linux development environment
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a highly motivating equity incentive package, flexible work hours policy, professional development opportunities, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a 401k plan.
