Job Overview
Support the overarching Strategy, Growth & Innovation division by overseeing the enterprise strategy framework, conducting analytics to aid in the formulation of growth strategies, and managing portfolio activities for GE Vernova. Collaborate across various business units and functions to develop strategic initiatives and leverage business intelligence to foster growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of mega trends alongside in-depth market research to pinpoint potential growth opportunities.
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape in global markets relevant to GEV, synthesizing competitive insights and customer movements, and disseminating pertinent market intelligence throughout the organization.
  • Engage in scenario planning, analysis, and benchmarking internal scenarios against external benchmarks to enhance critical thinking and decision-making quality.
  • Assist in constructing analytical frameworks/models to support portfolio analysis and management strategies in partnership with the Business Development team.
  • Create market segmentation and value chain models, along with financial models, to uncover growth prospects.
  • Extract strategic insights from thorough data-driven analysis to identify and prioritize both organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including market entry and product expansion.
  • Contribute to the establishment and execution of standardized processes for the strategy framework within the GE Vernova operational model, ensuring alignment with various segments and business units for long-term strategic planning.
  • Prepare materials for senior leadership in advance of board and executive leadership team meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of the energy sector and its value chain, with experience in electricity, renewable energy, power transmission, distribution, and energy software; cross-industry exposure is acceptable for consulting backgrounds.
  • Data-oriented thinker with a strong inclination to delve into detailed data inputs to enhance analysis and decision-making quality.
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and process management skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels across a diverse range of responsibilities.
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong project management capabilities, demonstrating confidence and independence in delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Proficient technical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities for visualizations and presentations; knowledge of Python is a plus.
Education and Experience
  • Preferred background includes 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, equity research, investment banking, or corporate development.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or engineering/science; MBA is preferred.
