Location Description

Our company is located in the Village of West Jefferson, OH, just minutes from the western suburbs of Columbus and about 20 minutes from downtown. We are proud to be Michael Foods' most recent greenfield project, producing high-quality protein shakes that serve people worldwide. Responsibilities
  • Support the development of quality systems and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the application of industry food safety standards in the manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and implement food safety processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout every phase of food processing, packaging, and distribution.
  • Lead the quality oversight program for aseptic operations, including training and mentoring QA floor support.
  • Provide training and technical support for operational employees on GMPs, aseptic processing, and packaging, sanitation, food safety, and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and corporate programs, leading and participating in audits.
  • Maintain consistent communication and foster teamwork between local personnel, departments, and shifts.
  • Develop and manage annual Quality and Sanitation budgets and cost control.
  • Champion the use of Quality Improvement Tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Develop and monitor plant sanitation programs to ensure a safe and wholesome product supply.
  • Manage the collection, trending, and reporting of data to identify root cause and areas of opportunity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' supervisory or managerial experience in a food plant manufacturing environment, preferably in aseptic beverage processing.
  • Completed HACCP training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop and motivate salaried and hourly personnel.
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as required.
