Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at AutoNation. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for making outbound service calls, establishing relationships with customers, and scheduling appointments for our Service Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Ask customers qualifying questions to uncover their needs and direct calls appropriately.
  • Service Scheduling: Ensure that service consultants receive messages promptly and make service appointments if service consultants are unavailable.
  • Reporting: Provide reporting to dealership management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service: Collect retail charges from customers in cash, check, or authorized charge account, and provide customers with the proper change and/or receipt.
  • Documentation: Properly process and document charge purchases according to the policies established by the Controller.
  • Accounting: Close all internal repair orders promptly and route to Billing Clerk for processing, and file accounting copies of repair orders and parts tickets.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, add, subtract, divide, and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 6-12 months previous work experience, demonstrated customer service skills, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, and previous industry experience.
