About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patriot Software Test Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and maintainability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the verification and validation of PATRIOT real-time embedded tactical software
  • Develop and execute PATRIOT system training programs
  • Design and conduct software validation tests
  • Analyze TCS/BCP test data to determine test objective status
  • Support the development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for the TCS and BCP
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to resolve identified problems and provide support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead and System Engineering lead
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience
  • Experience in reading and interpreting schematics
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good written and oral skills, with experience presenting to key customers
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Security+ or other equivalent security-related certification
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with Patriot Missile Systems or similar large-scale air defense weapons systems
