Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver/Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
Responsibilities- Support Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
- Provide Emotional Support and Stability
- Offer emotional support and stability to individuals with mental illness and behavioral challenges
- Help individuals develop coping skills and strategies to manage stress and anxiety
- Collaborate with the Sevita Team
- Work collaboratively with the Sevita team to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Communicate effectively with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Education and Experience
- No high school diploma required
