As a senior exercise strategist on our team, you will be responsible for crafting, executing, and assessing the success of strategic plans and protocols for our clients. Your expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office will enable you to create compelling narratives that reflect realistic scenarios. You will engage with client challenges, pinpoint potential threats, vulnerabilities, or risks that warrant investigation, and provide a constructive environment for recommendations that yield meaningful, real-world outcomes.

In your role as a leader within Global Defense, you will collaborate across various functions with wargame analysts, operations researchers, and senior executives on initiatives that significantly impact critical missions. Your insights will contribute to renowned programs such as Exercise Design and Event Planning and Facilitation.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program
  • Familiarity with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)
  • Knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)
  • Expertise in Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
  • Capability to take an exercise from conceptualization to planning and delivering a senior-level concept of operation briefing
  • Ability to operate under Commander's intent
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestically and internationally
  • Possession of a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience at the brigade level or higher
  • Experience with Maritime or Air Operations
  • Experience managing an exercise budget with diverse funding sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Understanding of Multi-Domain Operations
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational leadership, and communication skills
  • Master's degree

Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
