Key Responsibilities:


Provide expert geotechnical engineering support for various infrastructure projects across both public and private sectors.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough research, analysis, and design for the development of roads, buildings, tunnels, dams, levees, bridges, and other essential structures.

Perform detailed investigations and assessments of existing and proposed site conditions, focusing on subsurface explorations, soil mechanics, settlement evaluations, and geological hazard assessments.

Lead field investigations and engineering analyses, ensuring comprehensive documentation of findings through technical reports and specifications.

Assess site characteristics and provide technical insights on design and construction challenges related to soil and rock mechanics, including foundation design and earth structure analysis.

Generate precise technical reports that summarize research findings, utilizing sketches, calculations, and advanced software tools.

Coordinate fieldwork and laboratory testing to ensure thorough evaluation of site conditions.
Offer support during construction phases, including review of submissions and clarifications of contract documents.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
Strong ability to produce organized and comprehensive engineering calculations and reports
Proficient in geotechnical software such as gINT, Slope/W, Seep/W, and others

Willingness to travel to project sites and physically navigate construction environments in diverse climatic conditions.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain insurability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:
Ability to move freely around construction sites and conduct field assignments
Capability to carry necessary instruments and equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting productivity benchmarks.

Work may involve exposure to varying climate conditions, including extreme temperatures.
