Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Sterling Engineering. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications with precision and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot wiring and circuits effectively and safely, utilizing your expertise in electrical systems.
  • Wire according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Read and understand schematics proficiently, enabling accurate interpretation and execution of electrical designs.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, panel building, machine wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to accept direction, complete tasks as assigned, and work effectively as part of a team or individually.
  • Physical capability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and accessing machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required by the job.
  • Willingness to obtain licenses and certifications, such as Hi-Lo (Fork Lift), Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out Tag Out training, while employed.
  • Preferred qualifications: 4 years of electrical experience, related vocational education, and a Journeyman's card.
