Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience. Job Description

We are seeking a Part-time Occupational Health Technician to join our team in Kenai, Alaska. As an Occupational Health Technician, you will be responsible for performing field and clinic drug and alcohol specimen collections, as well as DOT and non-DOT collections using various methodologies. You will also calibrate and maintain testing devices in accordance with all applicable regulations, laws, statutes, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technician-level drug and alcohol and occupational health testing, data entry, and administrative support
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling, and filing
  • Perform a variety of occupational health testing procedures, including audiograms, pulmonary function tests, fit tests, and functional capacity tests
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma, Certified Medical Assistant or EMTI certification preferred, 2-3 years of experience in drug and alcohol or occupational health, and a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

This role will involve spending significant time walking, standing, stooping, sitting, assisting with positioning patients, and some lifting. We require the ability to pass pre-employment drug testing, physical exam, background check, and motor vehicle report.
