About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Lab Collection Professional to join our team at Millennium Health LLC. As an accredited specialty laboratory with over a decade of experience, we provide medication monitoring and drug testing services to clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collections and Shipping: Collecting patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens, processing and packaging collections or shipping, and serving as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
  • Patient Information: Recording patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information, resolving specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the ordering portal, and observing collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable).
  • Inventory Management: Ordering and maintaining collection supplies inventory onsite.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical requirements: sitting 90%, walking 5%, standing 5%, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $19-22/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Millennium Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401k with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
