About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for conducting field observations, testing, and sampling of materials on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, under the guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
  • Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data, including calculations and data reduction, to ensure accurate results.
  • Communicate effectively with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and certifications.
Requirements
  • No prior experience required; paid training and certification fees provided.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds and possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
