Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Site Development Engineer to join our team in Asheville or Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects related to civil site development, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • BS degree with a minimum of 5-9 years of project management experience or MS/MBA degree with 3+ years of project management experience or 2-year Degree with 8+ years of project management experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CDG Project Management and Resource Planning Training Programs.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply a broad knowledge of principles relative to the field.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage projects small in complexity.
  • Ability to work on and manage a variety of technical tasks.
  • For project managers over engineering design projects, basic level of computer-aided design using AutoCAD, and Civil 3D preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Seeing, hearing, talking, standing, stooping, bending, walking, reading, and writing.
  • Reaching with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to work extended hours at times.
Environment
  • Predominantly office environment: some overnight travel is required.
  • The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate.
  • Occasionally works in outside weather conditions, possibly for extended assignments.
  • The noise level on the construction site is often loud.
