Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Health Psychologist at VCU Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical health psychology and excellent communication skills.

About the Position

You will be responsible for providing consultation and liaison services within designated VCU Health System programs. You will also provide teaching and supervision in the Health Psychology Postdoctoral and Psychiatry residency programs.

Key Duties
  1. Conduct pre-surgical evaluations with patients in the transplant surgery program
  2. Develop and implement post-transplant therapy plans for patients
  3. Work with other healthcare professionals to develop and deliver health psychology interventions
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program
  • Advanced training and experience in clinical health psychology
  • Licence or license eligibility in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Salary and Benefits
