Kraemer North America is seeking an Environmental Field Engineer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contractual requirements on construction projects. The successful candidate will assist with scheduling, coordination, and documentation of environmental activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts in planning, coordinating, and implementing environmental work elements on construction projects.
  • Assist in pre-planning to identify potential environmental risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Conduct compliance audits on erosion and sediment control devices and ensure compliance with applicable permits.
  • Coordinate project staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with permits and resolve issues.
  • Investigate field issues and provide written and/or oral follow-up resolution.
  • Review and edit erosion control plans.
  • Utilize computer applications to perform work assignments.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to environmental laws, regulations, and specification requirements.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in a Science or Technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years' experience in an office environment.
  • Minimum one year experience with direct staff supervision.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic knowledge of erosion control and stormwater principles.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Effective communication skills.

Compensation

Base salary is dependent on multiple factors, including education, experience, skills, market rates, internal equity, and location. The hiring range is $60,000 - $85,000.
