Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Services Associate Manager to oversee and guide a diverse team dedicated to Logistics and Integrated Product Support.

This proactive leader will be responsible for enhancing depot-level support and repair operations, managing assets and resources, and creating detailed technical manuals and training programs.

The ideal candidate will effectively supervise the assembly, repair, and inventory management of equipment, ensuring that all activities are executed with outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to drive results while ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, producing comprehensive technical documentation on computer systems and individual components to support maintenance and sustainment initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and strategic guidance for all logistical elements of the program.
  • Enhance team performance by cultivating a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, and conducting safety training sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver Integrated Product Support.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers and government personnel, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries related to team activities.
  • Manage cost accounts, schedules, and milestones related to logistical support.
  • Proactively oversee project timelines to meet critical milestones within established time and budget constraints.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to anticipate potential delays and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Create work orders and supervise depot repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship in accordance with industry best practices and organizational guidelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and team leaders to synchronize efforts across various operational periods.
  • Review, approve, and manage all shipments of parts, consumables, and items from the depot facility.
  • Oversee the inventory management process, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and allocation of materials and components.
  • Manage government property, conduct inventories, oversee audits, and prepare property reports regularly.
  • Author technical manuals and training materials for operational, instructional, and service procedures in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive set of Operating Instructions that equip team members with the necessary knowledge and skills for their roles.
  • Develop and present briefings at weekly technical meetings and monthly program management reviews.
  • Participate in and lead professional discussions during technical interchange meetings.
  • Maintain document and version control of formal and informal training deliverables.
  • Provide backup support for other Integrated Product Support managers.
  • Assist in bid and proposal efforts for new initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

At least two (2) years of experience leading an Integrated Product Support team.

A minimum of two (2) years managing Depot Operations while maintaining fielded hardware.

At least two (2) years of experience supporting a government program during the Operations and Maintenance phase.


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems, Engineering processes, and life cycle management.
  • Familiarity with EVMS and reporting IMS milestone status.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust clearance.
