- Specialty: ordering upon Brand Manager's request
- Modifying 'Target Days on Hand' by supplier based on situational evaluations
- Reducing backordered items
- Minimizing costs associated with surplus inventory
- Ensuring all items on Purchase Orders are prepped in advance
Logistics Management
- Overseeing all logistics operations
- Coordinating third-party logistics as necessary
- Utilizing internal hauling options where suitable
- Maintaining awareness of supplier-managed logistics
- Efficiently organizing inter-company transfers when needed
Stock Oversight
- Collaborating with Brand Managers to identify key SKUs to prioritize and underperforming SKUs to phase out
- Reallocating products within distribution centers to proactively address demand
Supplier Relations
- Fostering a commitment-driven partnership with all supplier stakeholders
- Building strong collaborative relationships with Brand Managers
- Involving relevant suppliers in VIP Purchase Order management
Data Management
- Regular updates to SKUs with no inventory (Close Out & Limited -> Discontinued)
- Comprehensive daily updates of Purchase Orders in the system as information evolves
Engagement in Special Projects as necessary
Additional Responsibilities as Required
Qualifications and Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years in supply chain management
- Proficient in logistics operations
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Capability to manage uncertainty while focusing on results
- Proactive and diligent work approach
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Highly skilled in document processing and spreadsheet management (Sheets & Excel)
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with various technological tools
