Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Support Specialist to join our team at KARL STORZ. As an Onsite Client Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face support to our clients in the Operating Room, Sterile Processing Department, and Biomed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily maintenance and management of KARL STORZ devices
  • Maintain instrument sets in excellent working order and manage repair and replacement expenses within budget
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all KARL STORZ devices and troubleshoot video and instrument issues in the Operating Room
  • Inspect instruments and document their functionality
  • Train and educate clients on KARL STORZ devices and services
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and design workflows to improve efficiencies and reduce repair costs

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 0-4 years of experience in medical device repair, sales, or services management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient user of MS Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets and reporting
  • Completion of a drug screening for safety-sensitive positions
  • COVID-19 vaccine requirement (unless due to an underlying medical condition or sincerely held religious beliefs)
