Night Shift Transplant Surgical APP - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Piedmont Healthcare is in search of a dedicated physician assistant or nurse practitioner to enhance our team for night admissions and care of transplant service inpatients. This role typically involves three 12-hour shifts each week, providing a dynamic work environment while promoting a healthy work-life balance.


Piedmont Transplant Institute stands as one of the largest and most accomplished transplant programs nationwide, recognized for its superior patient outcomes, high transplant volumes, and extensive community outreach efforts.

Annually, we conduct around 350 kidney transplants and 150 liver transplants.

This position offers a remarkable opportunity to collaborate with a large team of inpatient advanced practice providers who work closely with transplant surgeons, nephrologists, and hepatologists.

We provide a comprehensive onboarding experience, including training during the day for 2-3 months before transitioning into night training with our skilled team.

The role is characterized by a high degree of autonomy, with robust support for decision-making from on-call transplant physicians available around the clock, alongside in-house hospitalists, ICU providers, emergency department physicians, and STAT teams.
